The Questionnaire

Unfortunately this survey is no longer available to complete

This was an important survey giving people who live, work, study and visit the area their respective voices in influencing and contributing to the future of Newquay.

The survey was available to complete from 28th June 2010 to 26th September 2010.

The questionnaires are now being evaluated, and the results published as part of Newquay Town & Parish Plan. This will set out local views on a range of issues including community facilities, housing and development, business and tourism, health, education, traffic, parking, the environment and so much more. The plan will be available online, in a number of publicly available outlets or by contacting the Newquay Town and Parish Plan Co-ordinator, 07976 738107 or e-mail by clicking here

This project is being driven forward by a locally based, voluntary steering group which includes residents, businesses, education, community safety and the Town Council. It is being supported by Cornwall Council and a range of other significant and influential authorities and organisations. The project is funded by Newquay Town Council, the National Lottery and the former Restormel Borough Council.

The plan will be used as a tool to develop initiatives, projects and partnerships involving bodies such as local councils, authorities, business and housing associations and to evidence applications for funding and investment to improve local facilities.

We are constantly in close communication with agencies who, themselves, will soon be undertaking public consultations on various subjects, including issues surrounding Business, Planning and Neighbourhood Agreements. We intend to interact with these to the greatest possible benefit of the town and the wider parish.

Thank you

Lady Helen Long

Chairman of the Newquay Town & Parish Plan Steering Group
