The Plan
The Newquay Town and Parish Plan was launched on 2nd December 2010. This followed a very concentrated year of work and effort by the Steering Group, led by Lady Helen Long.
The plan itself takes two forms. There is a summary version, which sets out the basic outcomes but shows little of the statistical detail coming from the survey which was undertaken over the summer of 2010.
The Core Plan contains far more detail, particularly around the statistical analysis of the survey and begins to set out the proposed direction which it is anticipated that action will begin to be taken.
The summary version is available for download, below, and is a publicly available document. If a hard copy version of this document is required, these are being made available at public venues, such as the library and through the town council.
The larger Core Document, with its more detailed content, is also available for download below. This document is designed for distribution to those agencies and organisations who will be assisting the community of Newquay to deliver the plan. There have only been a limited number of printed copies of this available. Reference copies of this, however, will be made available at public venues, such as the library and town council offices.
